Today is Monday, Happy Monday! It is definitely a day that needs a lot of caffeine, so I'm going to share my coffee creamer recipe (it kind of reminds me of eggnog)
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups condensed milk
1 1/2 cups milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp nutmeg
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the condensed milk, regular milk, cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Heat over medium-low heat, allowing the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until combined.
I got sidetracked with a toddler yelling "gotta go!" (We are in the thick of potty training) so i got to sit next to the toilet while my daughter told me all about how much she loves puppies and her dada. When I got back to the kitchen the coffee creamer had cooked down to more of a syrup than the usual milk like viscosity, but that is okay, it is just more condensed now so a little goes a long way.
Life can be crazy, Mondays especially so. Mondays with toddlers? We need coffee, and some of us can't drink it black, so
