Today is Wednesday! As I expected, Addi ROCKED her developmental screening yesterday—she literally scored perfectly. I’m not surprised; she’s such a smart, wonderful little girl!
This morning, we had ECFE. Addi and I worked on making a paper turkey for her dad (to be transparent—I made the turkey while she got bored after about two seconds). She kept going back to the playdough table, though—it’s definitely been her favorite activity lately.
Now, I’m working on this while she naps. I’ve got book club this evening, so I’m prepping dinner. We’re having dry-brined chicken with roasted carrots and potatoes, plus a fresh salad. Fingers crossed she’ll eat it! She’s recently decided to be picky, but hopefully, she’ll realize she can’t just live off pouches and cheese sticks forever. Wish me luck!
I hope you had a great Wednesday as well. As the holidays approach, I just want to take a moment to say how thankful I am for anyone who reads this little blog. Or, in the words of my daughter: “Thank you, baby.”
